Important Note –

This conversion will fit MGBs 1962-67 fitted with an original Lucas or replacement hi torque starter motor. However, the original Lucas starter fitted to the MGB after 1967-69 is so large it interferes with the spin-on filter conversion. If the original starter has been replaced with a modern “Hi-Torque” starter the spin-on adapter will fit on 1967-69 cars.

This is a complete kit to upgrade from your replacement paper type filter (GFE102) to a metal spin on filter.

Comes complete with a new Alco (Made in EU) filter and full fitting instructions
