Suitable for all original factory V8’s with the rope type seal front timing cover.
We have had these seals especially manufactured to replace your old leaky rope seal. It is a direct replacement (no machining required) and has been designed with an additional wiper lip to offer extra protection for the main lip.
Please note that fitting of this item requires the removal of the front timing cover as the seal is fitted in the same way as the original rope seal.
The Rope seal retainer should also be removed and discarded as the new seal fits directly into the cover.
